Let's just say we want to give feedback using LEDs. Regular on-off single-color LEDs are great, but think about how much more information we can relate if we use multicolored LEDs. After testing stand-alone LEDs, RGB LEDs and finally addressable RGB LEDs, we decided on the latter.
